I live and practice in the sacred land of the Abenaki and Wabanaki peoples, in what is now known as Shelburne, Vermont. The Abenaki and Wabanaki Confederacy were the original caretakers of this land, and we must honor them by continuing to take care of N’Dakinna, our collective home. This includes making social and environmental decisions that consider the impact of the health, wellness, and longevity of our elders and children, our communities, and our planet.
